ok... bumoer gone.

i'll still include the 100 mile delivery from Albany, NY for the rack alone. can't believe no one needs this... it's almost a $1000 rack from RN... and this one is as good as new. just not my gig due to the fact that i have an internal cage.

$400.... including 100 mile delivery

packaging and shipping is a biatch that i really don't have time to deal with on this ..., can't get it through UPS...needs freight.... it's the main reason i still have it... if you pick it up and i'd seriously consider $350... Freight to CA is not going to be pretty...

My quote was $250 to Ontario, so your will be about that too. You could try ringing Rovers North. They'll give you a rough estimate like they did for me. Ask for Les but don't let him suss you out.

The shipping price wasn't why I decided not to purchase this excellent roof rack. Even with shipping, you're getting an excellent deal on what is basically a brand new stainless steel accessory. The price quoted was for
Canada, so you may be able to get it to Cali somewhat cheaper. Craigslist is a good idea too. I think the dimensions are something like 48 inches by 54 inches by 13 inches in height. Probably about 20 kilos Lyman? Hope that helps Neil.

I suppose your right. It's just the shipping kills a great deal. If its still available in a few I"m definately still interested.

Fed Ex Freight: Quick rates via their site to Pasadena from Lyman's place:

FedEx First Overnight® $265.88
FedEx Priority Overnight® $238.75
FedEx Standard Overnight® $219.50
FedEx 2Day® $168.83
FedEx Express Saver® $137.80
FedEx Home Delivery® $42.73

Not all that bad, especially if you can wait a few days.

thanks...but something is amiss with your quotes...no way it'll go fedex at those prices... plus fed-ex will require it to be fully packaged... adding more to the size and weight...

i'm going to get him an RL Carriers freight quote at work tomorrow... it should be better than fed-ex...

Nice one.

Hope you don't think I'm interfering. I feel obligated given that I've inconvenienced you.
