Nice Fast Back Top

O.k. don't want to do this but have too as with a little one on the way, I won't be using this top for years to come. I have about an 8/9 out of 10 1995 Defender Best-Top fast back top. Nice clear rear window and in great condition. There are no holes in this top other than the ones which were made by the factory. It comes with the all of the hardware including a set of Land Rover B-C Cantrail plugs but it does not come with the Besttop tailboard. I am asking $1,500 plus shipping. The rear window fully unzips or you can unzip the side and top and let it lay down on the mat.

And now for the advertisement - "this top is not longer available anywhere on the planet and only came on the 95s and is super rare".
I am sure there are some available some place but I do think they only came on the 95s.

It does require that you truck have a belt rail system.

Clay

O...and feel free to bust my chops if I am off on the offering price.

offering price is fine. Just takes a person looking for one. Can I bust your chops on how I hate the silver grill. Hey where are those terrible jeep wheels that I saw pics of in the newest land rover owner mag?

a little black paint and that grill would really fit the yellowand black color scheme. maybe black out those rims and your batting a thousand. still a good looking defender the way it is.

Suck it you wish you had my wheels. They have 10k miles on them at this point (and I'm still not scared to scratch them on the trails, because it's fun) . Clay, that top looks tits!

I thought you ditched your wheels horsey or do you mean 10k on the new ones?
I got km2s today also. Did you know you can buy 5 at once?

Barry & Josh you guys crack me up. I agree with Barry that I am not really a hugh fan of the steelies but just as Josh mentioned I really don't care if they get scratched or bent. The wheels do provide a deeper dish so that I have increased the turning radius of the truck.

Barry on the second note I took off the LRX grille and went with the silvery plastic stock style. I happen to like the LRX look but it does restrict cooling to the engine, especially on hot days. I had to take off the grille on 2 occasions when I was wheeling in hot weather. There could be more to the equation such as the condition of my radiator and whether the viscous fan was operating at its optimum.

Larry - Thank you for the compliment on the truck and I much prefer the black on yellow set up rather than black, yellow and silver, just can't justify painting the wheels or the grille just yet. Too many other projects going on.

------ Follow up post added January 30th, 2011 10:32 PM ------

Bump on the top, too and I will entertain offers.
