Newly Remanufactured Ashcroft R380 Never Installed

I purchased a rebuilt Ashcroft R380 with V8 bell housing and clutch kit a couple of months ago. This is for a Land Rover Defender 90, Defender 110, 90 or 110. It was never installed just unpacked from it's crate. It has only been in my climate controlled garage since it's arrival. Price is $1800 and I can ship it through Fastenal for $100 or local pickup.

That would not make sense as you need to fully rebuild it again.

When Ashcroft ships do they palletize or Crate? Do you still have the materials to securely crate it and prevent damage?

Ashcroft shipped it on a small pallet strapped to it and was wrapped in cardboard. I still have the pallet and can strap it down. I'll also crate it with wood to further protect it.

Does this have the heavy duty bearing option and what is the 5th gear ratio?
