It would be legal in NJ. It's a moot point if passengers are properly restrained.

Not to mislead anyone I had this installed, before I brought the vehicle stateside, by a shop in the UK that specializes in expedition vehicles (Foley's). They use this cage on 80% of their vehicles. I didn't want the extra weight of full cage extension to the rear as i don't plan to carry people back there. The pics (my wife took for me this morning) didn't pick this up but the cage continues over the rear wheel wells and only ties into the frame where it intersects with the floor boards.

You can install anything you want after you buy the vehicle from the dealer. There is no DOT law regarding roll cage padding on an aftermarket cage.

Good to know. On my track car I had an internal cage without padding, but I'd never ride in that thing without a helmet. Always thought unpadded internal cages and my soft head were not a good mix.

To the OP: sorry to warp the thread. GLWS.

not to completely highjack this thread but that price isnt too bad and you didnt have to cut the truck up to do it I assume. Not a huge fan of the fact it cuts the alpine windows but it isnt bad at all.

All it really is is two hoops and two bars on each side to tie them together (bolts!). You'll notice there is no frontal coverage or tie in the windshield, and no protection extending to the rear of the truck. It's only protecting the 2nd row passengers essentially. I'd call it more a "sport cage" than a roll bar/cage. Sorry to hijack too.

No worries on the hijack--- I'm not a huge fan of the interior cage as the rear of a 110 is really tight anyway....if this cage doesn't sell i will problaby put it on eventually. I just wish someone would buy it and that way i don't have to cut my truck...

Hey Ron...

Yup, I still have the D110 and the D90. Need the cage for the 110 It's my daily driver right now. The 90 has been in storage in my garage for the past 5 years. I'll probably go through the engine and get it back on the road this winter.
