New in box wire harness

AMR 5856. This is a new in the box wire harness for a LHD 300 tdi. I bought this from Hobson in the UK for about 700.00 plus shipping as It is missing three plastic plugs for the stalk plugs. As you can see by the picture the female plugs are still there so use as is or find the plastic parts to plug into. This harness is 1100.00 in the UK. About $1900.00 if you can find it here.

725.00 shipped CONUS

This is the main harness which is bulkhead to headlights. It will need a rear harness and an engine harness.

I think you can google the part number and see what it is exactly.

Thanks. Mine is in a horrible state but the $1200+/- it will take to buy a full new one just isn't in the budget. Looks like I am going to spend days searching for 20g violet with an indigo stripe and 16g orange with red, etc. yeah!

FYI.. You can't get the missing plastic housings for those switches, there made by Summito in Japan & only available if you by them by the 10,000 or so. I looked long & hard so am using an alternative on my custom loom. Just say'in.... GLWS

Do you have any pictures of the bulkhead connectors? And also of the instrument cluster connectors. Am i correct in thinking this is for a 97 Defender? Thanks

Many ways to work around the missing plug housing.

One --just plug each wire into the correct spot.
Two --adapt to the early bullet style switches Three --take the plastic housing off an old chopped up harness.
