New Galvanized frame for sale

Picked up NEW Richards Chassis galvanized frame in a lot of three I bought. Have needs for the two regular frames. Would like to sell the new galvanized frame ASAP. They sell new at DAP for 3750.00 plus shipping.

I'll take 3300.00 plus free shipping up to 500 miles. 1.00 a mile one way after that. Located close to Wichita, KS.

The handle for a dude on this site, he posted a question in the last month or so about how long his chassis would last.

Pendy,

The Richard's Chassis looks excellent. Is it the "new" NAS D90 Chassis - are are you dead sure it would fit my 1995 NAS D90?

Is this the best chassis to use? What Chassis does Mike at ECR use on his documented chassis swaps?

Pendy - I sent you a PM with my thoughts, concerns, and questions.........

Thanks,

Flagg

Presumably the ones "documented" on the ECR website.

I think ECR uses Designa, but I dont know how I know that.

It'll fit.

that's what I'm saying WGAS....does it work? Yes... then drive it.

ECR is the designa chassis distro for the US if that helps.

Just FYI we do NOT use Designa-Chassis frames for Defenders.
We use them in Series Rover coil conversions on 88s and 109s, but we do not fit Designa-Chassis frames into Defenders.
We use a combination of Genuine and Richards chassis depending on the appilication. V8 90s get a Richards chassis and Tdi 90s get a Genuine unit.

Hurry up Rob. The other guy is getting close.

Flagg its the same as what DAP sells for your truck. It came through them originally. Yes it is new and never installed.

Do I need to start raising the price since buyers are appearing?

Pendy,

Did you ever get your $20?

BTW is this any different in thickness than the ones roversnorth sells? IE is it 3mm like the designa ones?

Pendy,

I am going to pass on this for now. Thank you for all your offers. I looked more closely under my truck this morning. I think the bulk of the Chassis will hold up for a bit longer.

I need to save - Unless my truck was going to fall in half, I just can't do $3250 right now. The new baby makes it tough. BUT I will save - cause I think I am going to have the truck long enough to need to do this.

I know you have an awesome chassis for sale. I don't want to insult you with a lower offer I can not imagine you not selling this chassis at your price.

I posted a more detailed message with some pictures of the rest of my chassis on the tech discussions on my rust post. Posting these pictures is dangerous - people may still tell me I have to do it

Thank you for all your time, offers, and PM messages.

And I am sure when I do my frame swap, I will regret not having yours in my basement

I will continue to look forward, and enjoy, your comments and help and advice to myself and people on this board. Thanks!

Kind words. I'll try to live up to the sentiment. Lets have a frame party at your house.

Cheney you got time before your move overseas?

You talked about organizing a frame swap party and documenting it. I wonder how Flagg could refuse. His area seems to have a lot of enthusiasts and rover people. Have him host or find a suitable place. 10 man team. 10-20 hours. Maybe even a Guiness world record attempt or similar. Or just bragging rights on D-90 source. Doesn't matter to me I'd put in a days work to see it done for him. With enough manpower and planning it should be doable.

Get someone to film it and sell the DVD. T-shirts etc...That might buy the food and beverage for the event. I'd start compiling an anticipated series of events or schedule to follow, from start to completion. I can bring most of the equipment needed as well. But the manpower and commitment to see the project from start to finish would have to be organized. I doubt Flagg wants me to move in with him until his truck is back together.

What do you think Jim C?
