Very interested in the process used and what other unabtainium parts could be made for Defenders.
Radio surround?
Dash parts?
What else?

As the one listed here?

http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...art-32020.html

I'm sure this one is truly impossible, but I can look into it.. Definitely wouldn't be cheap.

To answer this question:
It is a combination between 3D printing and then casting/molding.
So it is a very time consuming/low output process. Hence why the price isn't cheap (But then again, it is a lot cheaper as to finding the unobtainable fragile survivors).

It would have to be truly unobtainable/not to big/not to complex to make it work.

Jason and I already talked about this process, and we will get together sometime so that he can hopefully provide us with some more of these unobtainable parts. But I do still prefer his aluminum methods to provide us with an ever lasting solution.

Current list:

RoverPaisa: 1
WBSurfer: 1
tzbmcp: 1
D90Overkill: 3
discojosh2000: 5
J. Pound: 1
ntan: 1
toona: 1
jputnins: 2
Greenbull: 1
Taylor: 3
Hugh: 2
Peter: 1

And still 1 potential depending on a member buying a '95.

The order is placed... I might be able to ship out the first half in 1 week. The other half will probably be closer to 2 weeks. As mentioned, these are complex to make, so definitely not a fast production. So I thank you for your patience. Once your item is ready to ship, I'll contact you for payment, and you'll immediately get a tracking number in return.

I also ordered a couple of extra ones in case there are some people who missed this.

Thank you!

Max

And finally sold my first one a different forum... Can't believe how many I sold on a defender forum versus an actual Range Rover forum....

I'll have the first 6-7 ready for inspection/ shipping this weekend. The ones on top of the list can expect an email/PM for payment/information this weekend once they are packaged.

Thanks again for your patience, I know this is taking a while, but it shows how complex this part is to make, and why nobody has made them yet.

So. Obviously late to the game. Mine is perfect as I bought the very last one Atlantic British offered a few years ago. I am interested in a backup though. Any speaker covers being made?

Smart choice, you are added to the list!

Regarding the speaker covers, my passenger one is broken, so I'm definitely putting this on my list . But it will probably take a while.

I'll see if I can work together with Jason on this one, since he already considered producing these.

I've been slowly getting these bezels in, and the first ones already went out and arrived safely.

D90Overkill: I've been trying to reach you, but it seems that your inbox is full, please PM me when you see this, yours are ready to be shipped.

Thanks for your patience

Awesome! Thank you! Sorry about the mailbox. Fixed now.

Been so busy with the newborn that baby brain took over and forgot about these altogether. I'm so excited to see these. Will PP today.

Great to hear! So far everybody has been very happy with the bezel.

First part of the order went out. And most arrived already. Second part should be in 1-2 weeks. Thanks for your patience!

It there is any chance of buying another one, it would be like Christmas? My 1995 RRC is pretty minty, but I have a small crack in the bezel.

Fingers crossed

Thanks
