Does this one fit the German wide mouthed cans or only the smaller ones?

If it fits the wide mouth then licked.

I was not aware of different styles. This will fit wedco cans as sold by Expedition Exchange

Not all cans have the same sized openings. Most spouts only fit the 'narrow' ones.

These are the wide mouth, will it fit these?
