Do you remember how they stripped the plastic coating before powder coating? I cannot get this crap off!

these never had plastic coating like the front brush bar.

I've found that gasket remover does a great job on removing the coating on bumpers and snorkels. I tried mechanical removal and it was indeed tedious!

It will but it needs to be extended. Uncle Douglas has been doing it for years and I believe he extends it with some flat bar. 4" or 4.5" IIRC
