NAS D90 custom fuel tank

I'm selling a never used custom fuel tank for a NAS D90. It was custom made in HD aluminum and powder coated black. It holds 18 gallons of fuel and you simply reuse your existing greater and fuel lines to hook it all up. The proper (NEW) fuel pump is included as shown.
There is one issue- there is no skid plate to hold the tank in place so you will have to have one fabricated.

The vendor (Kensington Motor Cars) who made this tank was never able to provide the proper skid plate/cradle and after waiting for some time, I decided to move back to a stock tank.
I paid a ridiculous about of money for this tank ($2800) and I just want it gone so I can move on.
I'll take $1000 + shipping or if you can pick it up in NY, even better.

PM if interested.

Are there any advantages to running this tank vs stock or did you just go this route because there were no stock tank options at the time?

It holds more gas, made of stronger material, etc...
And yes, there were no stock tank options at the time this was built. Also, there is an additional drain plug installed on this tank- just in case you need to hook up an aux tank or drain this one.

How much bigger is this thing than stock? Why are there two tanks?

In his post he says its 18 gallons. Photos look to be of the same tank. Lighting makes it confusing though.

Stock tank is 60L ~ 15.5 Gallons.

That extra 2.5 gallons would be nice!

I am trying to see if ~3g is worth the price. Nice looking tank. I am not sure I have gotten much past 14 in my 97.

Sorry for the confusing pics. It's all of the same tank- just different photo angles.

so will the stock gas tank skid plate work or do you need to make up a new gas tank skid plate?

A little confusing, as it says use existing 'greater' and assume it a typo for cradle- yet later it says factory cradle doesn't fit??? So, how does it mount?
