I beleive there are slight differences (e.g. the way the mounting tabs face) but I could be wrong. Either way it's not a big issue.

My 110 rack is on my 90. Treehorn is right, the tabs are in different places, but it all bolts up.

You are correct. Spacing of mounting tabs actually. All 3 pairs of 110 basket tabs are spaced evenly (front, middle, center), while 90 the 3 pairs of 90 tabs aren't (front, slightly front, rear). Easy to fab something up.
