Never tried it on a '97, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't.

I had the old defender specific version and it fit both the 94 and 97 defender. This version looks like to one on my 930 - not a solid piece of metal. The original did not have the rubber boot.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Buck your PM is full Anyway, is it the original defender adapter or the one on sale on ebay yesterday? If it is the original, I will buy it.

Sorry,

I cleared it out. How do you tell if it is original? I bought just to help make my own. It does fit though.

What is the advantage of going to a Momo steering wheel?

Why ?

I went with a momo for two reasons:

1) I'm 6'6 so a smaller steering wheel and the mud.uk seat rails that move the seat back two inches weren't optional equipment. The amount of leg room gained with a smaller wheel is huge.

2) the smaller the wheel the less movement required to move the steering shaft. Ie..its like having the equivalent of a close ratio steering box and proved most usefull recently @ MAR in tight situations.

A third reason is the momo wheels are so much more confortable and better looking than stock. This is one of those personal preference items. If you have a soft top and leave the top off all summer a leather covered momo wheel would probably be toast quickly.
