Mantec External Side Window Protectors- Pair

Never installed pair of the external window guards. I don't have any hardware to go with them, just the guards.

It is Not a bad thing about the lack of hardware, it is actually a gift...

when I installed mine, it came with 6 lousy riv-nuts and boltts ( I think M6 can't remember ), I replaced them with SS bolts and stronger riv-nuts

The top just hooks on the gutter, the riv-nuts/bolts are for the tabs below

Do you have to drill holes to mount these?

Interested but pretty sure that these will interfere with the gutter mounted feet & clamps of my roof roof rack.

Going to have to give Gus a commission after all this Shrek was a good looking truck.

You could remove the tabs that interfere with your rack feet, drill holes in the face of the guard and use some form of a spacer to keep the guards off the window. As long as your exterior bolt head was smooth it would still be secure. It's a thought if you want the security of the guards and your existing roof rack.

The top tabs just hang onto the lip of the gutter, there isn't any hardware there. It's three holes on the bottom that would need hardware.

Bump. Summer is coming these are great to keep the dog (or children) in the truck with the windows open. Or of course your gear in the truck.
