M101A1 Camping Trailer

1968 M101A1 Trailer outfitted for camping. It started as a nearly rust free surplus trailer. I cleaned the bed and applied a bed liner, painted the trailer black, converted to standard 12v wiring and bulbs, and added a hinged top with aluminum diamond plate. The front half of the top is hinged for your camping gear, and the back half is fixed to mount your roof top tent. I had plans for gas and water tank mounts, and some fold down shelves/tables. The tires are standard STA 9x16s and are in great shape. It has duel handbrakes, and front and rear supports that make the trailer perfectly stable when parked.

While the trailer is large, it tracks perfectly behind my Rover and is the same width. It is a pintle type hitch, and I will include a pintle hook in the sale. The top is removable so you can use it as a utility trailer.

Also included in the sale are the wooden/steel side panels to extend the sides up another 2ft. These are in great shape as well.

There is one apology: There is a small rust hole in one of the tub supports under the bed. Nothing serious.

This trailer needs nothing and is ready to follow your Rover anywhere!

I love this thing, but I know I'd only use it about once every five years.

Man I like this trailer.....u might get more interest if it had a Straight Tongue Coupler for a 2" ball receiver instead of that pintle tongue.... Are u still in the market for a 300 tdi stock turbo and down pipe? If so check the parts section.....

A straight ball coupler would be shitty off road. Ideally you want a multi-axis hitch like Adventure Trailers sell. If you buy the trailer, I can modify the tongue for you for a little more. Easy Peezy.
