LT85 22C splitcase for sale

I've just pulled this LT85 from the 'Nigerian Princess', my 1984 110 5dr, for a drivetrain conversion. This vehicle was imported a few years back as an incompleted restoration back in England after it spent its first +20 years in Africa (the bloke's wife said it had to go so she could restore the garage as he was always out of country on business).
The 3.5/LT85/LT230 1.4 were installed at Foleys Specialists. The combo was never run. Even the exhaust is NOS. The LT85 appears to have been rebuilt as there is zero indication of service use (staining, leaks, grudge, etc). The transmission comes with the V8 bellhousing. Ashcroft sells a rebuilt LT85 22C for $835 plus $225 core plus shipping. I'm asking $1000 but willing to consider reasonable offers.
The LT230 1.4 is not for sell as it is slated for the GM LT1/ZF-HP22 combo going back into the 110. The 3.5 in presently in my '90 RR but will be offered up after it is replaced with a 300TDi/ZF-HP22/LT230 1.4 in the near future.

By the way, the core charge is actually $341, not $225. I failed to do the conversion for that cost.
