LR subwoofer kit

Brand new in box Stock subwoofer assembly. Took it out of the box for pictures.
Part RTC7793

Has all the hardware, amp, cabling included.

Bought this on impulse, going to explore the Springtail / MPAC setup instead.

$450 shipped to CONUS... International shipping will be extra.

Thanks,

Chris

Interesting. Is this the same kit that ECR uses, without the Line-X/protective coating?

Any chance you would mind posting a photo of the box without the plastic trim and measurements of the actual box? Curious to know how much it sticks out from the tail gate and how much of the gate it takes over.

Thanks,
Alex

No.
We make our own boxes and use a modern 10" sub.

this fits in the back of the D90 next to the trailer door?...looks like its larger than the area allowed..?...any pics of it installed in the truck?
very curious b/c i wana do some type of set up myself... i have my 2 stackable alpine PDX amp's under the passenger seat but was now thinking about subs and where to put them...where they would fit etc..got a lot of ideas but havnt decided what to do

ive seen someone build a custom box that fits behind back seats...

This only works on the ST... I have one, and it really is nice.

Do what ECR did and put a sub behind the jumpseats... It looks factory.

Wonder how it sounds. Probably not so good.

I am sure the sub is shit but it would be nice if there was a plastic door card for the rear door to cover the bolts.

ECR (Mike et al) -
Would you consider selling rear door ST subwoofer boxes to D-90 Source members? I've been looking for something like the boxes you design for a while - but I don't trust a local stereo shop to build a weather-tight solid box like yours. It sounds like you might have a number of interested parties...

I've got one of these stock subwoofer boxes. It is not weather tight by any means but still works. I guess it must have a waterproof speaker like in marine applications. You could just use a marine speaker and not worry about it being weather tight.
