LHD Steel Binnacle--Raptor Engineering Group Buy

I need to replace my Binnacle and am going to get a Raptor Engineering one. They can do LHD versions so I reached out and asked about a group buy. Below is the deal that they will cut us so I am wondering who all would be in. Mind you these prices are in British Pound Sterling, and final costs would need to reflect US shipping and Duty. Is there interest in these from others? If not, I can skip the hassle and just order mine. I'm not looking to make money so there isn't anything in it for me. And with that said, if someone else loves doing this thing, then count me in and I'll order from you :-) I just figure a bunch of you would be interested.

(Note: I hear that some folks have rectangular versus trapazoidal warning light cut out--so that is something we should all be careful of. Mine is trapazoidal).

That's pretty neat. It's too bad it doesn't support the nicer looking 1999+ warning light panel or heater control illumination though. (They incorrectly state 2000, but the instruments & binnacle were updated for 1999 and the Td5 dash was 2002.)

I'm interested.
Deluxe with Silver Bezel

The prices on the site list one standard for 65.83. Are those RHD v LHD?

Oddly enough I emailed them about these last month. I'll take a standard one just to check it out for fit and finish.
I'f they would allow it with this order I'd also be interested in a Td5 4 center panel in black.

That doesn't include the binnacle mount, interested in a deluxe in black, but would also need a mount if we could work them in also.

What do the light clip holes look like? Still use the unobtanium clips or have they upgraded that part?

They do not have lighting for the heater labels.

Series 3 is the binnacle mount only. Not the binnacle.

I'm interested... what is the fix for the trapezoidal warning light cut out? Mine is that shape, too.
I also need the mount...

I think they just sit in front of the hole.

Any chance to get a. RHD one on this order?

Don't they have a version that has the trapezoidal warning light cutout? Like the below, but for LHD? I'm pretty sure they do.

There are two binnacle versions. Up to TD5 and TD5. They supply versions for both style of warning cluster. The only difference is that they do not include the lighting facility for the heater labels.

I'd still be interested. My Binnacle mount ain't no spring chicken either. I'm getting the feeling like I need to tear apart my dash...sometime soon to fix all the rattles and make the heater somewhat work.

Now just gotta find a good, used Series 3 Binnacle that isn't all broken to crap or has a bunch of extra holes drilled into it.

Actually don't they really have 4 versions? Even for the pre-Td5 don't they have the "Regular" and "Deluxe"? It *appears* as if the Deluxe is the one with the trapezoidal cutout (from what I can gather...since they call their "Image 4" and "Image 5" a Deluxe, which is the pic I included in post #16 above).

It also seems (at least from what I read) that it's just the post-Td5 versions that don't have the illumination for the heater controls...but the pre-Td5 version do.

it does not appear that the gauges or warning light pod mount recess into the face of the binnacle the way they do on the factory plastic item.

if you look closely at the photos showing the trapezoidal warning light pod you can kind of see the edge of the pod. if the pod sits on the face of the bezel then it wouldn't need a trapezoidal hole.

if you get the deluxe with bezel option then I think everything recessed into the bezel a little. but not all the way like they do on the "inferior" plastic item.

So, again, can I get a RHD one on this group buy?
