It's my understanding that these are the key blanks:

Unlike the key that I got with my '95, from owner #5, which I believe is also listed as a series key.

Yes just like the key Dave posted. Click on the link I posted and go to the very first message in the thread and look towards the end. You'll see the rn link for the key.

I know, kind of buried...

Yup. So in answer to the question "oem or generic?" They might be oem to the NAS trucks, and just not mine (or the key I've got) but they are Genuine Land Rover. ie, most importantly not generic. And I like the new-ish look to them as opposed to my oem-ish '95 key.

I've always thought my key looked a bit dated and I corrected my previous statement.

I meant these should've been oem because I have the same one you're talking about it and it is dated looking and just lame.

I didn't mean to sound like I knew they were oem because I don't.

just add your name to the spreadsheet and pay. I believe we have extras and a few people seemed to have backed out. If for some reason we run out I will refund your money. I'm not keeping track at the moment unfortunately.

No worries. I really didn't know either way. All I know is that I have one ignition key that looks LR-esque (the dated series-defender style) and all my others are ILCO or Mazda key blanks like this one.

Make a note in paypal of your username if you have provided your shipping address at the below link.

If you have not provided your address please follow-up with an email (not a pm) including your full shipping address and username.

Lastly, once payment has been sent, update the list at the below link accordingly.

My secretary at work is going to handle this so please make it as simple as possible.

Totals:

$65 shipped for two or $34 shipped for one in both the US and Canada.

Guys, more important thank posting on the thread is to either include your user id and/or follow up with an email and update the google sheet. Just sending money is not good because I have no idea where to mail the keys!

Both NAS Defenders I have owned (94 and 95), came with the style of key that David Frank posted, they had "Land Rover" de-bossed into the black plastic. Is the key from this group buy a 1997 NAS 90 key?

It is a nice key!
