So Andrew, I'm getting mine mounted this weekend, should I have them siped for the snow and ice?

I haven't siped mine yet, as I wanted to see how they'd do. They're actually better than my old ATKO's so far, so I'm thinking that I may leave them alone for this year. I'll keep you posted.

How noisy are these tires in comparison to what you had on originally?

Andrew,

Mine are still in a pile. So I'm dying to know- how loud are they ?
My current trxxus 255.85.16's are nearly unbearable-never hear my cell phone ring over about 20mph with ringer all the way up...
Was hoping these won't be quite so bad.

Why are the only pix we have here yet just some close-ups of the tires? This thread is useless without pix!

Jim, did you click on the link 6 posts up? You know, the little blue underlined thingy?

As far as noise goes, they are louder than the BFG AT KO's, but not much.

Couple of thoughts:
It's around 0F right now, so I wonder what effect that has on noise?
Driving down the highway, the steering wanders quite a bit for about 10 miles, then firms up. Break in period?

Thanks Andrew. Jim is requesting pics of the entire truck, not just the close ups. I'd like to see that as well.

OME 761's in front and 764's in the rear. I had the same size tire in the AT's, but these seem a bit taller and narrower which I really like. Their "deer-avoidance" properties were tested Thursday night and they performed well.

Question Silly question?

Will these fit on a stock rig????
truck is bone stock suspension wise. LR/HD springs in all 4 corners over bilstein shocks.
Stock 5 spoke rims also.

Yeah, they'll fit on a stock rig, may need 1" wheel spacers on the front axle though as they are wide and tend to rub. If you're going to be wheelin it a lot, i'd recommend a 2" lift with them..
