Arrow Just about any Defender parts...

Hey everyone, we are getting ready to head up to a friends shop/yard in Canada with the car hauler to bring back a bunch of Defender bits. The main purpose is to collect the pieces we need to build our 100 HC Hybrid but I would be glad to pickup things for anything else while I am there. He has a rotating inventory of around 30 trucks mostly ex-MOD but some civilian stuff 80% of it is Defender/Series III and the balance is older Series and Disco/RRC. He has just about anything, body panels, interior, diesel engines, petrol engines, salsbury axles, wheels, ect...you get the point.

So basically if you have a request email it to me and I will get a quote from him and forward the price back to you. I'm not looking to make money off anyone just something to help offset the cost of traveling 6,500 miles! Payment will need to be made before we leave for CA and shipping would be involved to get the product from us in FL to you upon our return. So, if anyone needs anything just shoot me an email.

Regards,

Jason Michaels

I need an NAS rear tub for a '95 D-90, a front passenger door outter skin, and a passenger side front outter fender skin (side panel). would you please check on these items? Also, I will be in Tampa, FL from May 18-25 if that would make pickup easier, otherwise I am in Roanoke, VA.
take care,
ember

Why is this in the classifieds to begin with? Jason you're a vendor and should not misrepresent this in the classifieds. You don't have the parts in hand like a normal private sale and continue to post under your company's name. This is a Vendor transaction. Period. What recourse are you offering your customers as a vendor? Full refund and shipping if the part doesn't meet their expectations?

This is some funny shit. The board went ballistic when this guy spammed everyone earlier,as did other boards, and now everyone is lining up to buy parts from a MoD boneyard in Canada from the same guy? And if he has access to these parts as he claims, why can't he call said boneyard and have them dropped shipped from Canada to your door ? Why are you all so willing to do business with this guy and ignore all the common sense red flags? Claims to vast amounts of parts with no evidence, the whole episode with ripping the dizzy mod off of Outerlimits, plagerism on the website from other websites, ... and those are just off the top of my head.

Pendy hit it. This shit is going south. I notice there's no post on Pirate. Wonder why that is. No post on Discoweb. Hmmmmm.

Do yourselves a favor. Call RDS or another legit vendor.

Post Sooo tired...

Eric,

Give me a break I am so over this vendor not be able to post stuff. I am going to Canada to get some spare parts for our Hybrid. I offered to anyone who might need something to help ofset the cost of fuel since I am going to be traveling 6,000+ miles. It's not even certain that I can locate all the parts people need.

Get off your horse, if you don't like the post please don't read it. I'm trying to help out some others while helping myself a bit. If you read the post it clearly states this has nothing to do with Red Rhino.

Regards,

Follow-up Post:

Everyone, I have emailed your requests to the parts depot in Canada. I will let everyone know when he responds via email.

Thanks,

Jason

When did I say you couldn't post? The question was why it's posted as a private transaction. If you stand behind your business why not just put this crap where it belongs? In the vendor section! Why am I on a proverbial high horse? Because I hate to see people taken for the love of the marquee. You earned your poor rep yourself. Deal with it.

I'll add some more queries. Why drive from Florida? Why not just have this shipped to your shop? Why should the memebers of this board finance your trip for your misguided 100" hybrid project? That post has to be the funniest one on Pirate in quite some time. Hell, post up there some more, it's slow here in the office.

If it smells like shit, looks like shit, well then I think it's save to say it is.

Martin at National 4$4 I presume. Ah, the circle goes round. Am I back where I started?
