Entirely unrelated I ran into an Isuzu trooper 2door LWD diesel today.

After 2 months of waiting and attempting to schedule the pick up, I was planning to collect this on Thursday. Was told last night that it is gone.

My 1993 RRC SWB which was slated to get this power plant will arrive today. I will have to pay some mates to push it about the parking lot as I promised the wife I wouldn't buy any more "non drivable" rovers.

Lessons learned:
1) It's not a done deal till the deal is done.
2) A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush ( and a hand in the bush is worth dinner and a movie)

You have to understand something about Pedro though. Gone may not mean he sold it, just that it is no longer in his own garage but someone else's for Pedro to take back at a later date.

Charles, I really wish you would have reached out to me. I would have paid for storage or even bought it from you if Pedro owed you or something.
I did not sign up for any "lessons" in this deal.
