Hybrid Project for sale

I wanted to post this in the vehicles but it's not complete so it's better suited to put in parts.

Follow the link for info and pictures.

Feel free to make me an offer, I need it gone by March.

Cheers.

Don't give up..all major projects seem overwhelming from time to time...let the attached be an inspiration to stick it out...i am doing a similar thing to one of my SWB RRC's...i can see the light at the end of the tunnel...though it still flickers now and then

I will post something with more pics once i am done...hopefully very shortly..for now, I can give you a quick summary..i had a 2A with a worthless frame and a 92 RRC with a worthless body, though mechanically perfect and well-maintained. i had stripped the interior/body off the RRC to part it out and got down to a rolling chassis and then the lightbulb came on. So i have been building this hybrid. I kept the stock RRC 100" wheelbase and drivetrain with ZF. I put one of Safari Rovers' bulkheads on it and built out from there - mostly from stuff people are selling on this Forum. It went together quite nicely actually..the bulkhead landed right on the RRC front outriggers. I did away with the whole seat box setup and i have a flat aluminum floor with stock J**p wrangler buckets - love that..comfy and they go up, down, back and forth! I actually have leg room and a nice 12" space behind the seats. I used the stock 2A tub but raised the floor a bit because the arch in the RRC frame. My current plan is to cut a couple of series doors down to 12" wide to close off the gap you see between the seats and the tub...though a future mod may be to make that a suicide door or some kind of access panel. If you have any specific questions, let me know...

The guys that are helping me wished they could make the trip to San Jose to scoop up Brian's project listed above for $3500 so we can do another one before we forget how we did it...

100" hybrid

I'd sooo love to have a 100" hybrid built for me.

Wondering what it might cost in parts and labor, though. The donor vehicles prices will vary only slightly, say sub-2000 each.

Just curious, what frame would a person use for a D100?

Rover hybrids used a series III for a donor but what else?

I am currently obsessed with the idea of a D100 with a 4BT... mmm

Range rover and disco frames of a certain years are the most popular in the UK.
