Question HELLA Twin Supertone Horns

Every little girl dreams of growing up and having a great pair of honkers! Now you can make those dreams a reality for only $35 us american dollars! Although this pair are still young they are LOUD so use with caution.

Seriously though, I would put them on my truck but life in the slow lane usually ends up with me being the honk-ee rather than the honk-er. Plus riding in a big yellow truck means you usually have no trouble getting the attention of other motorists, so these are for sale.

My horn is broken, too.

I missed out on the last pair (so did Joel) that came up, but I had a pre-lick on them if Barry could ever sell his 110.

Joel, Cred was selling these for $25... do these come with the relay as well?

these were on the truck in place of the original horns, which I believe on a D2 use a relay in the underhood fusepanel

if you want a relay, no problem I got you covered

BTW noone has fed the paypal beast yet...

I installed mine but they don't sound right. I didn't use the relay but I am thinking the issue is the wiring. Not sure

I installed a new pair on a 97 SW last year using the factory horn wiring, in the factory location and they worked VERY well. Plus the location of the horn button on a Defender makes honking more fun.

I though I was the only one that uses my Middle finger to honk.

I use both middles, f words, and the 4 Hella lights.

I had some idiot try to cut me off while he was double parked. He got behind me and kept revving his engine and was getting 6 inches from my bumper... I thought "go ahead and hit me". Why do people in new plastic cars think its a good thing to mess with a Defender? Seriously, I had a VW Jetta randomly reverse into me in VT one day and he destroyed the whole rear quarter panel on the car. Probably 10k in damages. I only broke the glass on the Hella light. Just the glass too, the light still worked

Only on this forum can the sale section turn into a rant for road rage. Love it!

No need for middle fingers, just get a hand cannon.

Yes - but it is awesome at getting the attention of hot chicks walking down the street...you don't want something too loud and aggressive, it just scares them.

I added another universal horn to mine, wired them in parallel, now it's dualtone (ish) and loud as hell.
