Hard sided waterproof cases, Pelican and Doskocil

I have both a very large Pelican (1620) case and three Doskocil cases which are like Pelican but a different brand. Doskocil are very nice cases, though, and very beefy, fully gasketed and waterproof--super tough, so there isn't going to be a concern there. They just are not quite Pelican IMHO because of the latches don't have that extra easy release mechanism.

First the Doskocil:
I have a few of these--we got them to protect expensive glass samples that we showed to clients--they have 4 locking latches (two front, two sides) and handle. This is a Doskocil case like this: http://www.amazon.com/Doskocil-Extra.../dp/B00AELJL5U but the latches are a little different--they don't have that "pre release" or extra cam thing. I believe that extra cam thing was added to make these easier to unlatch--they DONT have that--I unlatch them fine, but you have to pull them harder than the ones that have that secondary release. There is no issue with them sealing--you just slap the latches, but if you are old, arthritic, or always wanted to drive a Jeep, you may have issues with them and you should pass on these cases. Old people seem to whine a lot--so do many Jeep folks (truth be told, I actually like a lot of jeeps--just having a little fun...)--so if you are a whiner, probably not a good case for you...

Great cases. They have some foam, but it was cut for the glass and really will be doubtful if it is useful on the bottom. Still has the top foam. They are a very decent shape and size: Dimensions: 20W long (on handle side), 16" wide, 9" tall outside dimensions

$60/ea plus shipping.

The Pelican 1620 is just that--the big case with extending handle. No issues with the case--had it for a while and used it quite a bit, always held up great and strong. Now when I load it, though, it gets too heavy for me as I never fully recovered from West Nile so it is just not a manageable size for me. It is this case, just with top foam only: http://www.pelicancases.com/1620-p/1620.htm
Ext. Dim.24.64" X 19.39" X 13.78"
Int. Dim.21.48" X 16.42" X 12.54"
Lid/Case Depth2.01" X 10.53"

$125 plus shipping.

First pic is the Pelican 1620. Other pics are Doskocil.

PM responded to--2 Doskocil's sold pending payment.

I have the large Pelican and 1 Doskocil left. My coworker may also let his Doskocil go, so I could probably have (2) more of those if it was desired.

Chris - my offer on the Pelican still stands. Okay to use the slowest 3rd rate ground shipping possible to bring that estimate down.
