greasecar conversion kit

Cleaning out the garage in preparation for a new roof is revealing some treasures that I don't need.

Greasecar conversion kit. Portions of this were mounted some time ago to a buddies Jetta, but it was never completed. This includes their 24" universal tank (http://greasecar.com/components/round-24-aluminum-tank), along with various other pieces such as the level sender, gauge, some of the tubing, the heating element in the tank, the fuel switch, filter, and several new prefilter bags and the instructions from greasecar.

$500, will not ship.

I'll happily RURR, it'd just be a nightmare to pack and ship it all. It's a really nice setup, wish I had an excuse to use it!

Haha! As soon as I saw this I figured Doug would be all over it. I may be able to assist in the RURR in late June.

Actually I run true biodiesel and waste motor/trans oil run through a proper biodiesel process. I know a customer of mine that would be all over this for his Jetta.

------ Follow up post added February 26th, 2014 08:58 PM ------

I'll have to check with him tomorrow as he just dumped cash into it having me swap the trans a little bit ago. So I will report back.

Thanks guys.
Doug

Free bump. I use the same setup in my Golf. They are very nicely constructed. Even if I don't have grease to put it it, I fill it with normal diesel. Boosts my range to about 1000-1100 miles without any problem.
