Joe,

I got a laugh out of the Donkey Kong machine that you have listed. What someone should do is reprogram the machine as " Defender Kong", and Mario has to gather parts to build his Land Rover.

For those asking for pics. I don't have any but can take some this weekend. I only have one step not two.

So for clarification, are these the retrofit angled strips that went on '94s to allow fitting of the bestop-style top? if so, do you have the pieces for both sides and the back?

Thanks, will look forward to the pictures!

Hi Joe

I am planning to buy Rancho 9000 series for my Defender 110.

Just wanted to ask you if they are any good ?

I am wondering if they are no good since you have tried them and took them off just after 2000 miles?

By the way do you happen to have the part number for them?

Thanks.

Sajidd

They are perfectly fine. I jsut decided to go with the Fox setup b/c my bumpstops and mounts were designed fro the Fox Shox and would have required modification for the Rancho's. i only mounted the ranchos until the Fox's were built.

They are the RX9000 - 99012 I believe.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the reply.

THe Ranchos 99012, are they suitable for both front and back? What kind of mounts do I need for them?

Also how much did the Fox set up cost you? Do you have fox coilover springs?

Regards
Sajidd

They are suitable, but you need new mounts for them. Contact Rovertym. They can set you up with the proper mounts.

i do not have the Fox coilovers. Just the adjustable fox's with Rovertym springs.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the response.

I will get in touch with Rovertym.

Regards
Sajid

Follow-up Post:

Actually on further investiation/ home work, I realize that 99012 maybe an over kill for me as I dont plan to have dislocated / unrestrained springs. I will still buy Ranchos but something with about 8 to 10 inches travel..

Sajidd
