Galvanized frames

I am considering getting several NAS90 and NAS110 frames hot dipped galvenized, and curious as to interest. This may be belong in chitchat, but felt it appropriate here, as this is where it will end up. They will sell for around $2850 for a 90, and $3500 for a 110, plus shipping, or pickup is available if so inclined. Also considering bulkheads as well. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, and any advance orders will get a 10% discount if deposit of 50% is received at time of order, since the galvenizing cost is weight based. I currently have three 90s and one 110 available, as well as a brand new '97 NAS bulkhead, and a used '94 NAS. Thanks.

No, they are only staright nonrusted original, takeoffs if you will. All the paint has to be removed prior to being dipped. The '97 bulkhead I have is brand new. Thanks.

Ok. I might be looking for a NAS chassis but with different engine mounts so this might not work for me.

I know of a 110 frame, 200 Tdi ( ROW) in decent shape. If you are sure, I can have it shipped here from Tn, as I have some other stuff coming, then get it dipped as well. Just a thought....

how about if i take orders on custom galvanised frames from the uk ? tell me what you want it for, it will be professionally made to your specs with correct engine and body mounts for whatever your truck is and galvanised and then shipped..... i can supply TD5 galvanised chassis shipped to the east coast for $4000 brand new !

if i get enough interest i will fill a container, i have containers going every couple of months anyway.......... so let me know.

Thanks Pendy, but the info helps. I'm trying to decide if it is worth the effort. I will either get them galv or scrap 'em. It isn't worth trying to sell them as is- everyone wants them for nothing, and deal with the shipping, etc. I thought at least the NAS 110 frame would get some interest, but ya never know.....

Galv Chassis

I got a very good condition 95 NAS chassis for a thousand bucks shipped to Houston... found it in a day. Had it galvy locally for $150 along with the x member and some other parts, tapped it out in about an hour. Since this is so simple Im not sure what kind of interest youd get at those prices unless you were installing them which I think would be the choke point for most D90 owners. Just my feedback, no need to flame.

Keith

Thanks Keith. $1k for a frame is a fair price- I keep getting lowball offers, thus the thoughts of galv. them, and up the price, or scrap the whole idea. Appreciate the perspective.
