FS: Warn M12000

$850

Warn M12000 in like new condition. A few minor scratches from sitting on a shelf next to other parts but otherwise like new. never even used or installed. It has the 100' wire cable and all accessories it came with still in package. Controller, box, hook, roller fairlead, all cables, etc. All new.

Prefer not to ship but will if you pay for the gas and expenses of driving the nearest hub. this sucker is HEAVY (136 pounds not counting accessories or packing) and no way will anything but a freight company ship it.

I can provide pictures anytime after tomorrow upon request.

Anyway, it is 3 years old. Does anyone know the differences of a older/newer 12000 or have pics of a 3 year old 12000 winch?

I am going to look at it tomorrow but if its not worth it i want to cancel the drive there. The guy cant get pics thats why I am going to see in person. He bought for a competition buggy he ran but never installed and has since gotten out of all off road activities. He said he paid around $900 for it when new.

any help is appreciated.

thanks
Is this the same one?

I think UPS oversize is 150lbs limit.

Make sure to check as I am 90% sure it can go UPS.

Yeah, I called them about shipping tires and they said that they will ship up to 150lbs via reg. UPS. (as opposed to UPS Freight)

that one looks way better...obviously...well im in the market for one right now but im not sure if this one would fit on a safarigard brush bar...also i was thinking about getting the 16.5 thermometric winch which would get me out of any situation i could ever get myself into...its pretty hardcore

It may depend on which winch the SG bumper was made for. You can get the dimensions of the winch off of warns site and then measure your tray. I dont know the design differences between the Superwinch and Warn specific SG bumpers but mine was a Superwinch one. I mounted a Warn 8K no issues and when I mounted my 9K, I had to do a tiny bit of grinding on one side to get it to drop in there with a hair extra space on the side. Unless the Warn SG bumper is spaced completely different, if the 12K is wider than the 9k specs, I'd do some measuring first.

to be entirely honest, i don't know much about winches. i have some experience winching in various learning environments out in the field. meaning, watching and learning, helping, etc. but knowledge of winch models, architecture, etc. is slim to none.

i was in the market for a 9000# winch for my D2. i bought this one because i got such a great price. i dont need this much. a 9K would be fine. if it doesnt sell, i will use it but its of no consequence to me either way.

it looks like DHL ground is the cheapest so far . . .

$90 for 6 day delivery to residential with on site pick up and $1000 of insurance from Southern California to Florida.
