FS: used take out NAS Defender 90 SW cage

For Sale: Used/take out factory cage from a 1997 NAS Defender 90, as shown, $1700.
Pay-Pal

Will also fit 95 NAS 90 SW, or whatever hardtop conversion you are planning as long as you don't have (or plan to remove) the Euro style bulkhead behind the front seats). We even use these same bars as the starting point to making Summer Runners from 110 3 doors.

Comes with what you see. There are no nuts or bolts and the brace that goes under the tub, and the supports under the fenders are not included.

Shipping this stuff is a PITA, so local pick up is best.

Ren Ching has the first refusal on this cage.

We have the supports that go under the front fenders and will toss them in.

Likely have a SD style under body set up as well, that the buyer can have. It is like the NAS under tub bar, but it is split in 2 pieces and mounts differently so that you don't have to take everything off to fit the under tub bar.

We have tons of that stuff kicking around. That is the cheap and easy stuff, its the upper bars (as shown in the picture) that is the PITA to get.

Ren, I guess that seals the deal w/r/t you getting the tub up to mike.

Congrats on the cage. Feel free to plan to crash at my place on the way up (or back or both).

Ron

OK cool.
Do the Pay-Pal thing and I'll start getting the other bits together.
I think I have a NAS under bar at the Warren shop, so it will be a pretty complete package.

Pay-Pal address is:

Paypal sent.

As mentioned, I can bring the 110 bed up with me. As for hauling everyones' junk up and down the coast, I will advise on timing and logistics as that all gets sorted out.

Thanks Mike.

Dave,
I have some early 110 sides and some small parts that Ron wanted. It would be great if I could bring them to the HH tomorrow.

Are you going to tie the NAS cage into the rear cage we built or you have other plans?

Funny I thought the under body pieces were the hard ones to find. Good to know!

I guess that just depends on where you sit. We are swimming in that stuff and we can get it all new and pretty cheap from SD if needed.

...but then again people tell me NAS 110s are "rare" as well, and we always have at least 15 or so here. So I think I have a different take on what is "rare".

------ Follow up post added May 19th, 2010 08:23 AM ------

Cage is SOLD!

Thanks!

Any chance you are going to have something big enough to haul a 90 chassis back down? And would be willing to do so, with proper compensation of course.
