FS used semi-rusty bulkhead in ME

1995 NAS 90 bulkhead. Needs some rust repair and some of the "NAS" parts are missing (air cleaner mount, etc). With some work would be great for a project or cut it up for parts. Not good enough for us to use, but seems too nice to toss in the scrap pile.
$300. best to come collect it as shipping would be a PITA

Mike, when you put the new bulkhead together I assume you paint it with the vents flaps off? I saw the pictures of the new one going in this truck and it has them on but it looks like it hasn't been painted yet.

Yes, we paint everything apart.
The vent flaps on the new bulkhead are parts that come with the bulkhead assembly part #. We don't use them as they have a narrower mount for the vent control than the NAS trucks. So they were on that bulkhead, but now that Jim has it in the paint shop they aren't on it anymore. We will repaint the original vent flaps for that project.

Another question - when you put in a new bulkhead, do you automatically widen the heater vent or is that a customer requested item only?

I was about to ask the same thing myself.

I think that the main problem (other than the too-small opening) is that the blower motor is run directly from the fuse panel on a small circuit. It really needs a high-power blower motor on a relay to get it blowing hard...

This is on my pet to-do project for a while, but has been on the backburners ever since I got an Espar heater under the passenger seat.
