Sorry, not worth the effort to pack/ship at that price.
Thanks though.

You'd rather throw it in the garbage than take 5 minutes to ship it?

Absolutely.

Find box, pack, set up shipping (thats going to be about 10-15 bucks right there), run box to UPS.
If you can do that all in 5 minutes you are hired as our new mail order guy!

How about you just slap a little tape on it to secure it to the set of 110 seats you just sold, so that it doesn't just end up in a landfill somewhere?

Yeah that's just wrong (IMO)...I would ship at my own expense if I new someone would use it rather than throw it in the trash bin...and have.

Its a different world here.
If we kept/ donated to charity / sold for no profit all the Defender stuff that comes in and out of here it would take all freaking day, every day.

Ron said it best recently. He is "moving to Maine and going to make a living selling stuff out of our dumpster"

Strangely I completely understand. I have so many used parts I would give away for free but just not worth the hassle of shipping.

Retail is $120 on that part. Ecr is offering at less than half price used. Then an offer comes up for $20 shipped which is basically asking for a $110 discount.

At that point throwing the part away is probably a classier way of saying "get lost"

x2 I hate dealing with shipping stuff, and all I have to do is walk into the parts department with an address and a credit card.

I have done this Bill. Gave it away for free and paid for the shipping myself. It really wasn't all that satisfying What hurts is when you see the same person listing the same thing for sale later. No way to prove it, I just assume they are listing their old parts and replaced it with mine.

Bingo!

If a guy walked by my desk and saw it, I'd hand it to him no charge if he wanted it bad and could use it. But shipping stuff sucks.

Anyone who doesn't want to see the part end up in the trash is welcome to send me a ready to go box with a FedEx call tag all on it. I'll drop it in the box, you do the rest. Otherwise STFU.

Can I arrange for a 20 yard roll off to be put behind your shop? I will even make time to load if for free

You'll need to clear that with Ron first.
