FS: Terrafirma Extra Wide Wheel Arches (Defender)

Price: $220, shipping included to CONUS.

I bought these to install on my truck but they are way too extreme for the tires that I run on my truck.

The rear flares have holes predrilled in them. Fronts are left undrilled (you do it yourself). Note that the front flares and the rear flares are not identical - the front flares are slightly curved to match the curvature of the front wings.

http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/defender...66-p-7034.html

Included are the four flares, rubber trim, and the instruction manual.

My stock fender flares are pretty ratty but I'm only running 285 tires with a spacer. I think those are 2 wide for me too. Thoughts? I was going to get the non extra wide but yours are tempting due to the cost.

Interested in these... What tire size fits these? Was thinking about going 35x12.5 on a 3.5 offset 8 inch rim. Any thoughts?

Got this little Tdi 90 getting a 3.5; got some big meats and some locked HD axles- never know when one may need to run over to Iceland ;-)
I gotta get back to work as this computer time is getting expensive!!

Defender1844 - 285's are not really that large, while the spacers should make the width ok for these flares, i think they are for people running fairly large tires.

Arcadeus - no problems with 35's on these, and i doubt there would be much problem with even larger tires.

Being 50mm wider on each side than stock, it should look pretty mean with the setup you mention.

Btw I noticed that you were running the same wheels as I am. I had to trim these with my 35x12.5r17 as they still rubbed while twisting. I think with less offset you would be okay.

You know what a pain in the ass it is to get those things on and off. Why don't we just switch trucks?
