FS NAS D90 frame

NAS D90 frame (V8). Removed from documented 20K mile car with no damage. Only minor surface rust, no real issues. Never hit.
1000.
located at ECR in Maine.

Truck shipping is costly on these frames, so unless you do a road trip to pick it up shipping will cost a ton.
If it is picked up 5% sales tax will apply.

What do you suppose it weighs, Mike?

Where were you...

We just got rid of the old 110 frames around. Sadly it seems the scrap guy gives us more than we can sell them for on Ebay or on the board.

Seems a big waste to me, but we need the space.

110 rolling chassis

Michael,
I have a rolling chassis 110SW 200Tdi about to get sandblasted
and possibly galvanized or POR-15.
Was looking at selling it with a Series IIA 109SW body- but if the price is right
I'll let it go and sell the 109 with it's Series frame.
Was looking at around $3500. galvanized 110 and 109 body.
No 200Tdi with this sale.
Bob

Frame

Hi Robert and Mike, Here is my deal. I just bought a 1993 Nas 110 at a price I could not pass up. It has some pretty heavy offroad abuse to the frame but believe it or not the body and interior are in pretty good shape. In CA its whole life so no rust at all. I am going to try and restore it as close as I can get to stock with the exception of all the new OME suspension the previous owner just had done. I am hoping to find a clean frame to swap out just to get rid of all the big dings. Dont need galv frame as for me future corrosion is not a concern but would not rule out galv. I might also do a diesel conversion. Am also somewhat new to Land Rovers so excuse my lack of knowledge. Thanks, MIke

If you're replacing the frame how can you pass up going galvanized? It just plain looks cool if nothing else.

Personally, If I were putting in the time and effort, there is no question, I`d go galvanized. If anything, at least in the future if you need to sell the truck, a galvanized frame is a plus.

Unless it is seriously bent, the dings do not hurt the frame.

This frame is not bent or damaged in any way. Media blast it and have it galvanized for about 400. bucks and it is just as good as the new galv. one you'd buy for your project.

Mike, I got confused. Do you have a 110 frame or are you referring to the 90 frame? Thanks, MIke

We tossed the 110 frames, just have this (had) 90 frame right now, but we take out 110 frames all the time so check with me when you want one.

Happy to say the D90 frame just sold (pending payment). I'm happy to see it getting used instead of getting cut up.

OK, the "buyer" backed out, so this goes to the scrap guy. Way too much hassle... my mistake.

Thanks though.

Wish I could pick it up from you. But I can not arrange any shipping. You got anything else to make the trip worth while?
