FS Mantec Raised Air Intake

New in box. I was told it would fit with NAS Cage but it doesn't.
Made of ABS plastic. Won't rust.
Will only fit in defenders with side vent.
this is not the wing top version.

$299 at RN.

I'm asking $270 plus shipping.

So with Rovers North free shipping yours would be about the same. Why not sell it for $200? You might get a bite then.

I dont see how that wont mount on a NAS truck. You can cut the pass through for the fender but the problem is routing the air hose once through. I have the Safari snorkel but my problem is simply mounting it because the pass through is so much larger than the mantec. I have only ever seen one of these mounted on a NAS truck and you could tell it looked a tad cramped installed. Here is a pic of one installed on a newer UK 90 and you can see how cramped it looks on that. The 2nd and 3rd are of it mounted on a NAS truck. As you can see the Mantec seems to appear to have a smaller foot print.

If I had the $$ I would defiantly consider buying this Mantec. I'd like to see if I can swing it. I like it much better than the safari one I have

CVC,

Mine is different than the one you're showing. It is more compact than the Safari snorkel you posted.
On a NAs, you actually end up with a lot less hose than the wing top version.

Oh. I misread your post.

I tried fitting it to mine with a roll cage and unless you trim the plastic, there's no way.

I have a similar set up on my ROW trucks set up with the 300 Tdi. The air box before the air cleaner is situated in the fender well below the heater box and forward. it gets its air from the side vent. The air intake hose then comes into the bottom of the air cleaner housing that is located on the passenger, RH, side of the motor, (LHD steering) The heater box gets its air from the vent on top of the passenger fender, RH. The vent on the Drivers side fender top just goes into the engine bay.
I would think the part you have for sale would fit any ROW truck with the diesel. Don't know if the gas engine trucks have the same set up but I think they are more like the NAS trucks.
