FS: LT77 for TDI Long Belhousing $99 via Conclave

For Sale:
Very rare Long LT77 with TDI and other 4 cylinder Belhousing bolt pattern.
This is a core transmission that has all the parts to convert a short belhousing LT77 to a long belhousing transmission so it will bolt to a TDI and space the engine in the proper position.

This is perfect for someone who wants to do a TDI conversion, but doesn't have a long R380.

So if you want to put a TDI in a 90 or 110 and don't want a 20" gap between the front of the engine and the radiator, this is what you need to reuse your perfectly good LT77 with short belhousing.

This is a core transmission only "B" suffix that has unknown failures and cannot be used as is.
BUT
Has everything you need to convert.

Sold as is and final sale.

We are packing the 110 this afternoon and leaving Thursday morning on 9/19/13.
If it does not sell by 4:00 PM on 09/19/13, then it is no longer for sale.
Offered today only... if you prepay via paypal gift will bring it to you at the Conclave, otherwise will not ship or store for you for months and months.

If you want it, pay for it and we'll bring it.
Don't ask me if I know anyone coming from East Cacallaka.
You must make your own pickup arrangements to pick it up or have it picked up.

IF no one buys it, then we won't bring it.
Must be sold by 4:00 PM today 09/18/13 before we pack our 110 so we can bring it to the Cove, otherwise it is no longer for sale.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I like learning new things. What application would have had this stock? Do those of us with 4 cylinders have this long bellhousing lt77? (I'm at work, and the 90 is at home, or I would just crawl under and look.)

Thanks!

Good question.
These Long bellhousing LT77s were used in the first year 300TDI Defender 90s.
If you have a non-300TDI 4 cylinder, there is a very good chance that you have a short bellhousing LT77.
