you may not like the fuel spill rail I made with Viton rubber hose - nice though.

History:
Originally purchased from M&D in the summer of 2005.
This engine has only 5 (five) miles on it. During the 5th mile, its experienced the runaway diesel for a couple minutes (seemed like an eternity). The reason for the runaway diesel was I put 6 quarts of oil in the engine when there was already break-in oil in it.
Engine is still openned up (as of today) for inspection. Look through my posts for some pictures.

Look for older posts. He explained what happened.

It was several years ago. Maybe 4-5 years ago... Probably more.

I remember I thought that it was bad luck what happened to him.

They guys were offering him hugs.

Hugs r good!

No bang. It just would rev up, then down, then rev up, then down, then when it revved down the last time it stopped as if u turned off ignition.

Long story short, blown head gasket smothhered the runaway with coolant.

Engine is completely opened up at the moment. All rods were fine, all valves and piston heads did not hit, just got charred up - aluminum piston heads more so.

See my other posts for more.

Actuallly, said that wrong. Blown head gasket prevented compression ignition to continue

And oil level probably dropped to where it couldnt get pulled in any more.

Right now, My best guess is $8000 - $8500 including customs , depending if u pick it up at the port or shipped to your door with or w/out 4' dock.

I pretty sure the 5700 british pounds includes the 20% VAT, which we dont pay in states

Michael, I'm not trying to hi jack your listing. I have a new 2.8 sitting in my garage that I'm not going to use. I've been trying to decide what I should ask for it. Thank you for your advice.
