I don't normally like discos, but that one is really nice. Haven't seen a TJM on the rear of a disco before. What's the lift/tire size?

Sorry for the hijack. Good luck with sale.

Hi Tom,
Thanks. It has been a labor of love with a 2.8TGV
That's a 2" spring lift with 35x10.50R16 SSR tires.
Front and rear axles are Sals...

Now we know what Pendy has been up to! there is nothing else on augusta.

Welcome to the 2.8 club! Do NOT leave there without an EGT installed!

Has a 2.8 too??? Nice!!! Now I really want it. Looks fantastic. Did you have to trim the body to fit those tires? What brand lift? PM me if you'd rather not clutter your for sale thread . . .

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the welcome. I did the conversion in about 2002/3, IIRC. It was an M&D kit. After I got it done (wanted to do it, so I would know all that was involved, just in case, but it was a long job for a novice), later drove out to KS and Pendy checked out the work and did some tweaks to take care of some other details and also later did the axle swaps and other fun stuff (snorkel, etc.) :D
It was a big job and a long project, but a lot of fun. He's done some excellent work on a number of upgrades. Yes, have boost and EGT (Isspro gauges), thanks.

Pendy is a busy guy, that's for sure. Well, definitely his shop is the central attraction in Augusta

Hi Tom,
Oh, I don't mind, especially if it will get some traffic looking at the advert. Thanks for the kind words.
Yes, Pendy came up with the wheel opening method and it worked out well. They are RTE springs and were from their new supplier. Thanks again for the kind words.

The 2.8 has aLOT more to give when you tweak it from factory setting. Also, back to the original thread, I love my Hannibal rack. it is really strong AND light as hell. I can almost hold the full length 110 rack with one hand.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for getting us back to the original thread
No, didn't tweak the settings, just stuff in the car to make things work even better...

Yes ! It is a very light and strong roof rack ! Thanks for the support !
Don't forget that the cross-bars run lengthwise to keep the wind noise to even more of a minimum...

You should definitely post this on the expedition portal as well. this rack is more appealing to the overland crowd, and there's lots of disco's there.
