If only I could get my fingers through to unlatch my hood. Imagine getting fingers caught in the holes, ha. Sorry for hijack. Love those grills, GLWS

You might be able to 'join the dots' & make a hole for your fingers? This grille might be better suited to that than others?

This grill is ten times stronger than my Heritage I had on Shrek, and I did exactly that , so a no brainer on a SDO grill

Hope you can see in the pic

These grills are the bomb, I had a front end collision which bent the frame and buckled both doors, but the grill just had scratches.

Love this thread! Some additional comments as follows:

Ironically...look what just arrived from powdercoat, the Badge Mounts for the grille...solid aluminum, with the genuine Land Rover Green & Gold oval emblem decal #DAG100330 inset directly onto the badge mount (which, those decals are expensive little buggers!). Furthermore...this badge mount will actually right onto even the factory plastic grille (but, for obvious reasons, I recommend upgrading that anyhow : ).

As LostChord pointed out, that is correct...the "cutout" version of the grille will be in-hand back from powdercoat next week. Here's the pre-bending pre-powdercoat prototype:

As mentioned before....glad you walked away from the accident, and given that fact I'm more comfortable saying that the above endorsement is all folks should need to hear .

PS - *if* the new owner of Paul's grille wants one of the new "badge mounts" for their gently used SDO grille, I will cut him/her a very good deal on one of the badge mounts that just came in....but only for Paul's grille! Be the first kid on the block with a fresh badge mount .

Okay, fine...I'll take it. Enough with the high pressure arm twisting.

I saw the prototype and it's a great addition to a great grille
