I guess it could be but I don't see a tank and I don't think you would want to use plastic tubing and push to connect fittings to pump flammable gas around a confined hot engine compartment. Maybe methanol injection? I don't know where in the system you inject and I don't see a reservoir.

Last Call on this truck before I move it on to some of the other sites as well. Thought you guys would have scooped this one up by now at this price.

Cheers!

Thought the fellas looking for parts were putting together a buy- best chance they have to save lots of dollars- especially on all the incidentals! This is by far the best way to buy- running/driving rig, know what you got, and not waste a ton of dollars buying all the odd bits!!
Not to mention a chance to recover some cost selling off what they don't use...

I would of thought a fully rebuilt 300 drivetrain alone is worth the ask with suspension, axles and tires being worth thousands more.... Someone hurry up and buy this please so i can stop looking at it.

I have no clue how this wasn't gone within the first few days. I'm going to put it on some other sites today. Honestly didn't think I would have to put it anywhere else. Figured a few board members would have been all over this.

True that Dale. That was my intent. It's a perfectly running driving truck with tons of turnkey bits. The more days that go by that I don't sell this the more I am thinking maybe I will just make the time to do another project with it. Sometimes I wish there were more than 24hrs in a day so I could get more done.....lol

Took the D1 for a light two hour trail ride today with the A/C pumping (97 degrees today in NC) and it was awesome. The longer this thing doesn't sell the more I get swayed to keep the damn thing. It really is a great driving truck. I know there are a good 5 or 6 or you out there on the fence juggling a few things to make it happen but I guarantee you won't be disappointed whatever your intended purpose is.

Yep. I pulled it because I've got enough solid interest from some guys here over the past few days that I don't want to deal with a bunch of eBay losers asking stupid questions and of offering me squat not having a clue what the truck really is. The sale is looking a lot closer from past couple days of activity.

"parts truck"

Hate to do it but......i bought the truck to combine with another disco to make a surf fishing rig, i used it all summer and came to the conclusion it just doesnt work for me, its way to small for me, my 5 year old, 15month old and the wife. Its back up for sale in the same condition as when i bought it except i replaced rear brake pads, rotors and right caliper, replaced the steering with hd terrafirma drag link and track rod, and installed a safety devices roof rack, the rack is for a d2 but serves its purpose, i'd like to sell it whole but will consider parting it if there is enough interest, Not trying to flip it, just want my money back looking for 9k, basically the cost of the truck and the parts i installed plus i'll throw in a 98 discovery parts truck with title.

Were you able to determine what all those fittings, gauge, and orange piping were coming out of the manifold? I have been dying to know from when nobody knew before you bought it.
