FS 5 speed manual Transmission.

For sale is a 5 speed transmission with a V8 pattern bellhousing.
Front and rear splines are good.
I am 90% sure this is an R380, but the identification numbers are not conventionally stamped... they are more a series of dots and I cannot read them, analyze the pictures and let me know what you think.
We have not installed or run this, so sold as spares or repair.
You can pick up or we will drop off at any location in VA beach, Chesapeake, or Norfolk, VA.
$299 +shipping (YOU MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS).

Yes, it's an R380, as far as I can tell from the pics. The LT77s I've seen don't have the plate below the output shaft, visible in the last pic, and had a threaded extension on the end of the output shaft. The giveaway would be the location of reverse, to the right and down is an R380, to the left and up is LT77. Easy enough to check with the shifter still in it.

Great price, if it were on the opposite coast I'd snag it in a second. GLWTS!

Thanks.
R380 from a Disco... $299.
Will drop off at Fastenal for the $150 ride you pay store to store.
Lots of interest, but no payments yet.

Will this drop into a 3.5 V8 sans modifications i.e. plug & play?

Your inside tunnel will be different, the bulkhead piece and seat box flange. Also the shift linkage will have to be swapped over. Disco to Defender

This is an R380 and is going up on ebay Sunday morning if no one wants it.
We are building a batch on GM engine conversions for series and all this stuff is blocking the work area.

LT77s were in early NAS V8 trucks, too.
