Posting this for sale was interesting.
I have only seen 2 sets of Dormobile parts come for sale in 42 years.
1 set Terri Anne Wakeman bought and the other set I bought.

These parts are very very rare and hard to come by.
So I got messages on here and Guns and Rovers and eBay.

People wanted to do everything, but buy the top and seats, but after a few days someone from NC bought it all for the asking price.

What puzzled me were the low ball offers and then the higher offers below asking price.
One potential buyer made an $1,800 offer and said not a penny more.
I replied you're passing on some of the rarest parts in existence over $200, have you lost your mind?
Other people wanted a deal just on the seats or just on the top... it was crazy.
Perhaps I am totally different, if I had wanted one and not the other, I would have bought everything and re-sold what I didn't need.

This was a big learning experience for me.
From now on if I want to sell something, I might ask 30% more than I think something is worth and then come down so someone can think they are making a deal below the asking price.
Being a 1 and 0 person, it took me a while to understand this scenario.

The Dormobile top and seats have been sold.

People are crazy. I was out of town when this was posted. If I would have seen it, I would have bought it in a heartbeat

Just say price is firm next time Robert. I was so tempted to buy them to hoard, but I did not. The price was very fair. The price spread between a truck done with them and without is easily $10k plus.
