Series I land rovers had galvanized frames for the doors. I do not see why, if you were careful, you could unskin, galvanize, and then reskin stock doors.

You can.......I do it on all re-builds. Regular 90 doors, roll up window doors ( even the super sexy roll up window / series style handle type), rear doors and bonnet frames, and bulkheads. Taking the skins off the roll up /rear doors is a pain in the arse though. Still isolate the ally from the steel.
