If those are two piece, the aluminium tops are worth a few hundred easy.

Yes, they are the same except for color and a knob latch on the slider as opposed to a lever latch.

The handles and the galvanized cappings are worth saving too.

latches are unique to 83-84 county's. The door tops are worth a couple hundred (major upgrade to series doors)

Ok so I take back my comment on the Spartans...they really aren't ssooo bad. Advance private notice on the down low for future freebies is/would be appreciated and maybe worth a couple of drinks and an appetizer from The Real Seafood Company...

Damn it! Well if you reconsider (lol)...that is one of my favorites in Ann Arbor. Supposedly my fathers side is having an east/west family reunion this fall in/at Stony Creek I believe...just hold all of those parts till then for me...lol.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.
