I have two boxes I built for my old D90 that need to go before the big move at the end of the month. They are both constructed from birch plywood and are carpeted on the visible sides. I designed these to hold my Pelican cases, Engel fridge, and fuel cans.
The smaller box can hold one Pelican 1610 (or more, if stacked), an Engel 45 and four NATO cans, plus a lot of crap underneath.
The larger box consists of a main box and a sidesaddle box (which mounts on a tub wheel well). This box will hold two Pelican 1610s underneath, plus an additional compartment for axles, etc. On top, it will hold 4 x NATO fuel cans, one Pelican 1650 (or more, if stacked), one Engel 45, one Pelican 1600, one vertical-mount PowerTank, plus CB radio/amp/whatever mounted in the cabinet within the side-saddle box.
Note: the Engel slide mount and Mac's tie downs are not included with the bigger box. However, there are stainless steel tee-nuts installed so you can attach your own tie downs and slide mount in the existing spots.
Free to the first person who comes and picks them up. Otherwise, they go to the dump.
