FOR SALE ST rear door trim panel

FOR SALE

A used but good condition ST rear swing-out 1/2 door trim panel. Yes, these actually did exist, sold as a dealer accessory back when our NAS trucks were new. I guess these don't show all that often and are NLA for those who want to trim their rear ST swing-out door. I'm not sure what the part number is, and it's not molded in on the back as some parts are.

This one was used for a bit and I bought it intending to use it myself, but have never gotten around to it and probably never will.

Good condition with no cracks, but it does have a couple of over-rounded mounting holes (washers should cover these) and a small hole in the map pocket as shown.

$200 shipped in CONUS via Paypal "gift". Sound fair?

Thanks,
Murph

If he can find someone to do it, I have a better version of it than that one (slightly better - none of my screw holes are cracked). I've found someone who can duplicate them who has had experience copying the NAS interior front door panels, but I have to send it up to Canada.

Good buy, Clay!

Yeah I haven't found anyone better, yet, plus he has experience with familiar cards. I called about 10 places and most of the places had said they'd require about $10k up front.

working on it. I have to confirm it fits on multiple '94 STs, multiple '95s and multiple '97s as-is and then will be sent for duplication.

Barry,
First I have to get the shop to get out the rear bumpers as I already have forum members who are looking like this . Then I can consider what's next.

Curious on an update on this - any progress made with making reproductions of these or just too expensive?

I had reached out and received a few quotes but most people who wanted them here wanted proper molds and not fiberglass with an overlay, and the mold process was going to be very expensive. I've toyed around with providing discounts to those first 50 who could supply deposits, etc. but it just hadn't been a priority this past year with the wedding.

Josh, let me reach out to a contact I have in the plastics world. I might be able to offer a reasonable solution here if someone is willing to provide a door card to mold.

Send me some examples of his work. I have been in contact with a guy well known for his interior reproductions and door cards, and was looking to have a few things remade through him, such as these door cards, NAS ST and SW rear speaker boxes, interior windshield trim, etc. that I was hoping to incorporate into the same mold batch to get the best bang for the buck. There is a dedicated thread with a poll, etc. somewhere else on this board.
