feeler - NAS Rear Step Bumper

If anyone has an interest in a copy of a NAS Rear Step Bumper shoot me a PM as I am thinking of having a run of them made. I think the price would be less than $500 plus shipping. Might run less if enough people are interested. Typical run is 10 and they would be almost an exact copy if not an exact copy of the rear step bumper without the rubber tread plate done in black semi-gloss PC.
Thanks

The NAS steps lower bracket had to be modified to fit my ROW truck which has the side mounted diesel tank. Have you thought of modifying the rear bracket so that it could be removed and or added to to fit the different configurations? Just a thought.

The row version I think is basically a nas 110 version. I would make that to satisfy all the imports. The nas 90 bumper can be had easily. The 110 one is insanely expensive and hard to get.

Barry,
Thank you for the insight. I will try to track a 110 step bumper down for copying.

According to the land rover site

Rear Step Bumper – 90 models

Part No: VPLDP0095

Makes access to the loadspace easy as well as offering added protection from minor knocks, and also incorporates a dual height tow bracket.
Defender 110 (not shown) – Part No: VPLDP0096

I would say thee must be some difference. At least for new ones.

Who would have thunk that there is a difference between such a simple part. Looking forward to seeing pix of the parts side by side. Perhaps then we'll see the difference.

I don't know what this difference is you speak of. A nas d90 step bumper fits a row 110 just fine with very simple connection straps which anyone could fab up

Yes but a 110 bumper doesn't need you to fab anything.

Also if you look at the x tech trucks you will notice the shape of the bumper on the outsides has changed.

I guess my point is the difference is negligible. Two cuts and 4 holes doesn't really make for a challenge and I can't see why someone wouldn't just get one that "can be had easily" with some basic extensions over a "insanely expensive and hard to get" one that looks exactly the same unless you crawl under the truck.

Does anyone know if Terrafirma corner bumpers are compatible with a NAS rear bumper?

O.k. so I have a NAS 90 and a NAS 110 step bumper to copy. I will post pictures tomorrow so you can see the difference as the NAS 90 mounts to the rear fuel tank cradle. The NAS 110 mounts to the frame. The look very similar from the top but are different from below. If a NAS 110 owner needs to have one made with the tabs for the ladder I can have those put on it as well. I will be taking deposits. So basically at this point if you have an interest in:
1. a NAS 90 and want a step bumper shoot me a PM
2. a NAS 110 and want a step bumper shoot me a PM

3. have a ROW truck you can view the pictures I post tomorrow of the NAS 90 and NAS 110 mounted and decide if which one may/will this will work for you.
!

Also - please note that JSQ is also selling a hitch on the forum so you may want to consider his if you don't need a full step bumper. His hitch is a very high quality product.
