O.k. stupid feeler. Would anyone be interested in a front roll bar set up like a NAS. The kit would include 2 bulkhead mounts, 1 A Frame Cage, a upper left and upper right above the door bar and the related inside the roof panel mounts for the upper door bars. Basically it would be like a POE kit to turn a ROW 90 into looking like a NAS not to mention a little extra support in case of an accident. PM me if you interested and if I can get enought folks than I could have the same shop that does the carriers and 3rd brake light bars do this set up. Just a screwy idea but...

I think it's a great idea. I wouldn't care about making my ROW90 look like a NAS but I would like the added protection and most bikini tops would then fit it if it were made in the same circumference. I think this is a smashing idea. I've wanted a soft top for quite a while but most that used ones that become available are only for NAS 90s. How much would it be?

Aren't these still available for order from SD? Don't know if you mean you can make them for much cheaper or something, but I'm pretty sure you can still order these cage bits - just not the padded pieces.

The A bar section of the roll cage doesn't really have any impact on fitment of a NAS soft top, except for a select few tops that wrapped around the roll bars above the doors. The header bar and B pillar portion of the roll cage impact the fitment of the bikini top the most.

the majority of the used soft tops I've seen had the holes for the Ext roll bar, so those would have never been an option for me. And I would only get a used one.

Yep, I need it; maybe x2 depending on the direction I go with the Series.

Josh,
Stephen at Safari says that the kit is available I am not sure how much the kit runs... I didn't know if they were still available.

I've been thinking of adding some protection myself. Looked online at some of the safety devices stuff also. Is the shop you work with local here in San Diego?

Not sure what the SD one runs, if they will sell just those parts or what the cost is with shipping and everything but I might need a duplicate of a NAS internal B hoop and tub brace bar off a SW for a project. Any thoughts on getting any of those made to go with the A-Bar? You're a lot closer...

Iam,
What tub brace bar do you need - under the tub or in behind the seats?

Behind the seats. The under tub bar is good. If the price is right, i'd rather pay you to have one made than make it myself at the moment as long as its a good copy of the stock set up. Don't need it coated.

Parts ASR1108 and ASR1109 in the attached.

Ian,
I am sure that they can do the behind the seat bar but I would need to come up with a donor.
ASR1108 I would need a donor

Right now they have 3 ALR5557s for $225 a piece shipped and
can make the ALR7881 and ALR7843 no problem. The ones in the picture and 93 and 94s as the 95s and 97 NAS don't have the little tab at the bottom.

Shoot me a PM on what you would pay to have an ASR1108 done as I would need to unbolt the one from my truck, drop it off and have it recreated - so it would be nice to know your budget. (and if there is anyone else that needs the behind the seat one feel free to chime in as this will only drive down the production costs).

Clay,

Do these guys have plans/ability to make a copy of a 50/50 CT style roll cage for the 110?

example: http://www.safetydevices.com/expedit...3-present/656/
