Factory 1994 D90 soft top and rear cage

I have a Factory soft top for a 1995 D90. The top is in good condition, but two of the zippers need to be repaired (one rear window and one DS window) The windows have been replaced and are in good condition, but one managed to get a small hole in it from being folded and stored.

The rear cage is the B pillar back. I have the frame tie-ins and the mount that goes from side to side behind the front seats. I do not have all of the bolts unfortunately. I believe that there are some B pillar supports for a hard top cage in there as well. You can see the cage parts in the pics.

Also included is a full length bikini top. This is one of the ones that goes over the back seat and is designed for the stock cage.

I'm not positive what these parts are worth but was hoping to get about 1K for everything. Let me know if that is out of line. I'm not a Rover guy, I'm a Cruiser guy. The top and cage is my fathers, he swapped to a hard top and no longer needs this stuff.

I'm really not that interested in shipping, but if you can figure out how to do it, I probably can.

Mace

Damn, that's almost worth driving to Vegas to pick it up! That's a better short term investment than any bank can offer right now... LOL

I'm sorry guys, I've apparently seriously undervalued this cage and top.

The other Forums I frequent do not allow "bidding" type sales posts. In an effort to be fair to my father and D-90.com, I'll probably just put it on Ebay and call it good.

Again, sorry about this.

Yeah, I'm all about a good deal, and if it were only a couple hundred bucks, I'd be fine with it. However it seems like a good bit more than that. The reason I'm selling this for my father is because he is moving across the country. Having a bit of extra cash would be beneficial.

Again, I'm sorry, I thought I had done enough research and I was mistaken.

$1k is low for the cage, but I've seen them for like $1800 a time or 2.

OP why not just put the new price here rather than go through eBay?

No Tomaco, The only Rover I am associated with and have ever been associated with is my fathers 1994 D90. Heck, my only other posts outside of this thread is when I bought a hard top for his rover.

I'm just trying to be fair to my Dad mostly. I don't want to take advantage of anyone or be taken advantage of. Ebay seems the easiest way to do that. Nothing more or less...

Pretty much anyone would do the same thing if they were in his shoes. It is one thing to eat a couple of hundred for the karma but a few thousand is a hard hit to take.

Re the $1800 cage..... Maybe 5+ years ago but not now days, they are rare and bring big $$$

I was ready to jump in my car and make the 12 hour each way trip and flip it to make a few thousand.

You didn't say what your eBay name is yet...

I would love to know the research you did. It's really messed up (and your fault) for you to offer something for sale here for what you think is fair, then refuse to sell it. Ouch. I don't know which other forums you are on, but this isn't how you sell things here...
