F/s Lt77

I am selling the LT77 from my 1985 Range Rover. This is the long throw style of the LT77 for Range Rovers prior to 1986. It should also work in any 90 or 110. Included is the V8 bell housing that will work on any Rover V8. THe transmission is in excellent working condition. The current mileage is 129K and for the 70K miles I have owned it the transmission has lived on synthetics, Red Line MTL in particular.

I know what an R380 is worth and I also know that an LT77 will never sell for as much. I'd like to see as close to $500 plus shipping for the transmission and bell housing.

I'm open to offers and critiques.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

If it is anything like a disco R380, it will not bolt into a d-90 without serious modifications.

On the plus side, it should bolt into a disco . . . .

Good Luck,

Ron

HI Ron,
I would think that since this is a long stick version of the LT77 that it would fit a 90 0r 110 of similar vintage (1980's). It is not like the R380 (short stick) that I recently sold. That one was taken from a Disco and, understandably, would not work with a Defender without serious modifications. I would think this LT77 is not that unlike the one installed on the original D110's and early D90's. The gear shifter installs ahead of the transfer case shifter on the console.
Thanks,
Paul

Post the part number on the side. That should help people figure it out.

Good luck with the sale!

Ron
