How do they attach to the floor when folded into the seating position? Looks like they just rest on he floor.

Todd, I'm pretty sure these do not secure to the tub floor, but there are a few things to consider which may alleviate any concern. Unlike the bench seat, which has a forward pivot tendency, these have an upward/sideways pivot tendency. So, in the case of an accident, aside from the seatbelts providing a significant amount of the downward-force to secure the occupant and seat, these seats will not really "want" to pivot forward.

I'm also not sure how close the two "legs" would be to one another if you were to mount a driver side and passenger side seat, but if there are a few inches between the two legs when folded down for seating, you could probably install something along the lines of a "wing lock" on the floor that you could turn to "lock" the legs down on the floor. Of course, a backing plate on the underside would also be needed to make it of any use.

Sort of the same idea as when you have two cabinet doors right next to one another, and there's a little space between the two, and they're secured shut by a little wing-nut type of deal that you have to first turn before you can open the doors. I couldn't find a good photo of what I'm thinking about.

Correct these just sit on floor when in the seating position, I can install the other seat so you guys can see how close they sit togather. I was thinking about a nutsert in the floor and a wing nut as well if I kept them to secure them better, but once I sat in it and buckled in I really didn't see the need. Another option would be a eye bolt and a piece of rod with pins to secure it in place. I really like the above drawings for a clean secure attachment. I would keep them but when not in use the seat belts are on the floor and in my way for the intended use of this 110.

Thanks for the interest

No to pee on Ed's post, as these are nice seats. I am running them in the back of my 90. The only problem with them is that I am going to upgrade to the Exmor lock and fold as I will be putting a child in the back. IMHO - I don't think these seats could stand a heavy impact and would not feel comfortable putting a car seat or a child in a booster in them. Just something to think about....Ed I hope I am not hurting your ability to sell them. I think putting an adult in these with a seat belt is up to the passenger's discretion.

Isn't is mostly the seatbelt that keeps an occupant from flying through the windshield rather than the seat though? Sure this puts a little more weight behind an occupant if the bracket fails, but you're really SOL if the seatbelts fail, not the seat(s).

seats

Ed,
Thanks for the comment back and I am glad you sold them. The are great seats and stow away nicely. Doug you will like these seats. I can shoot you a picture of what they look like faced rearward if you like. This will save you the "what if" question and drilling 8 holes in your tub like I did.

Clay,

I'm not Doug, but the seats should be in my possession in a week or so . I plan on mounting them rear facing, so any pictures would be great.
